What to Expect:

  At The Life Church we do church cafe style.  We encourage a 'come as you are' atmosphere.  That means, we like khakis and blue   jeans. We like loafers, dress shoes and 'tennys.'  At our services we sing a mix of modern and traditional hymns. Our messages are life applicable and usually include the use of video illustrations as many people are visual learners.

You may say, "But I'm not churchy."  

  That is great!! We aren't either.  We’re just learning to follow Jesus and share His love in practical ways. Wherever you are in life, you’re welcome to come and explore the next step of faith.  We don't have it all together, and we don't expect you to  either.  That is why we gather, to encourage one another and help each other become more like Jesus.  Our mission statement is "Rejoicing in the new life jesus gives, we desire to help others also find new life in Christ."

  What we do:

  We show Grace to others as God has shared his Grace to us.  We can not earn our way to heaven by doing good works.  It's  all by    His Grace that we can even call ourselves His children (Eph. 2:8-9; Titus 2: 11 - 12)

  We believe in genuine friendships (the community here is awesome!!  Come see for yourself if you don't believe me)

  We like to laugh.

  We like to eat (check out our Sunday fellowship time after the service.  Many sweets and treats for your tummy.)

  We are not religious.  We celebrate a relationship with Christ freely given by his Grace by faith alone.

  We are simple

  We are culturally relevant 

  We like to have fun

  We offer help for people in our community from all walks of life.

  What we don't do:

  We don't look down on anyone else because we recognize our own sinfulness and need for Christ and desire for others to                experience that Grace and transforming life.

  We won't make you stand up or raise your hand if you visit.  We will just ask you to fill out a connecting card so that we can better    serve you.  You will get a free coffee mug for coming!

  We won't bug you to get involved so don't sweat it!

  We won't make you feel guilty if you have been away from the church for a while or have never been to church.  We like to think        of ourselves as a church for people that don't like church.
