MINISTRIES & EVENTS
At the Life Church, we believe that it takes community to grow in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul in many of his epistles mentions the importance of people encouraging one another and meeting together. Knowing that our vertical relationship with God is strengthened by our horizontal relationships with each other, we offer several groups that will help accomplish this goal.
Being that community is very important to us, we like to have fun. Please join us for any event that we host for a non-threatening, no-strings attached time of fellowship.
Sunday Morning Breakfast
Join us Sunday Mornings at 9:00 for a free hot breakfast that includes scrambled eggs, sausage, pancakes, biscuits and gravy and a variety of hot and cold drinks. Several of our members are dedicated to arriving early and cooking the breakfast. We greatly appreciate them! The breakfast is served in our newly renovated social hall.
Our youth group meets on the 2nd and 4th Sunday evenings from 6 - 8pm. We have dinner together, play games, fellowship and discuss life issues that youth deal with from a biblical world view. Sometimes we go on trips to corn mazes, roast marshmallows with our fire pit, hay rides or just chill in our youth room and watch movies.
G-Cubed (Growing in Grace Group)
Join us in the cafe following the worship service on Sundays for a DVD lesson by a well known pastor or theologian. In the past we have watched and discussed studies by Tim Keller, Andy Stanley, Kyle Idleman, Max Lucado and Tony Evans.
Bonds of Iron is a confidential support group for men struggling in the area of relational and sexual brokenness. We believe that to overcome behaviors that bind us, we need to grow in our Identity in Christ by God's Grace. Bonds of Iron seeks to repair relational wounds and block satan's deception with the truth that sets us free. This is done through exercises, accountability, prayer and support. The group meets twice per month. For more information, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
