MINISTRIES & EVENTS
At the Life Church, we believe that it takes community to grow in the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Apostle Paul in many of his epistles mentions the importance of people encouraging one another and meeting together. Knowing that our vertical relationship with God is strengthened by our horizontal relationships with each other, we offer several groups that will help accomplish this goal.
Being that community is very important to us, we like to have fun. Please join us for any event that we host for a non-threatening, no-strings attached time of fellowship.
S.A.F.A.R.I: Come meet other single adults in the community on the 2nd Friday of each month for a game and time of fellowship. We meet in the church cafe from 6:30 - 8pm
Club 3:16 is our church Youth Group. It is for all rising 7th - 12th graders and meets on alternating Tuesdays from 6 - 8pm. We do a devotion/lesson about God's Free Grace, have good discussions and play games.
Sometimes we go on trips to corn mazes, roast marshmallows with our fire pit, hay rides or just chill in our youth room and watch movies.
Our joint church youth group with Mt. View Fellowship meets on the 2nd and 4th Sunday evenings from 5:30 - 7:30pm. We have dinner together, play games, fellowship and discuss life issues that pertain to youth from a biblical world view.
Join us in the cafe following the worship service on Sundays for a DVD lesson by a well known pastor or theologian. In the past we have watched and discussed studies by Tim Keller, Andy Stanley, Kyle Idleman, Max Lucado and Tony Evans.
The women meet on the 4th Saturday of each month in the Church Cafe from 10:30 - noon.
They are studying the book "Live Loved Live Free" by Connie Witter.
All women welcome!
Join the men on the first Saturday of every month from
9 - 10:30 am for free food and fellowship.
Every Monday from 7 - 8pm
All are welcome to attend the Monday Evening Grace Group from 7 - 8pm that meets in the Blackberry Lane Chapel. We begin with 15 minutes of acoustic worship and then read and discuss a grace oriented book together. You do not have to read aloud if you don't wish to. No prep is required. The group has about 8 - 10 who regularly attend.
